About Project

The work for the Bay Bridge on Yerba Buena Island was very complex, and included forming and pouring two mass 5,000 cubic yard anchor foundations, with liquid nitrogen injected concrete. Each placement was 54 continuous hours. In addition, R&W formed and placed two 50' high tower column bases for the bridge span.
